Coach Godbey

I coach the way I wish I'd been coached.

I grew up on a Little League diamond and rode baseball through high school, college club ball, and a brief minor-league summer tour. Then I traded the cleats for the coaching box — first as a volunteer assistant, then a head Little League coach, and now a full-time private skills coach.

What I learned along the way: kids don't need yelling, they need reps. They need a plan, a coach who notices the small wins, and parents who feel confident about what they're paying for.

That's the deal here. Every player gets a written focus plan, every parent gets coach notes after every session, and every lesson ends with a high five — and one thing to work on at home.
